Es**rting a cruise ship requires a delicate balance of continuous oversight and operational readiness.

For every ship arriving at Ege Port Kuşadası, as seen here during Star Flyer’s approach, our es**rt tug provides active es**rt support throughout the entire berthing sequence. Operating in reverse directly ahead of the bow, the tug maintains real-time maneuverability support and positional safety without physical contact with the hull.

The tug holds this active safety position continuously until the mooring crew secures the lines and the ship is safely tied alongside.

Operational Day | Mooring Lines: The First Connection to the Port ⚓

Lines secured, the day begins.

Early this morning at Ege Port Kuşadası, our line-handling crew successfully secured Viking Vesta upon her arrival. Connecting a cruise ship of this scale to the pier is a matter of pure precision: from catching the messenger lines to fastening the main head, stern, and breast lines onto the bollards.

Once the tension is locked and the gangway is lowered, the port comes alive as thousands of guests step ashore for their Aegean journey.

A great start to another active day at berth!
