🐾 Sometimes a special request is exactly what an unfinished project needs…

More than a year ago, I started a little project: a collection of seven different mini dog breeds.

I crocheted the first three — a Golden Cocker Spaniel, Siberian Husky and Doberman — and then, as often happens when you have far too many ideas and not nearly enough hours in the day… the project was put aside. 😄

And there it stayed. For more than a year.
Then recently, I received a message from a customer in Australia. She loved my larger black and white Cocker Spaniel, but was looking for a much smaller version of him.

And suddenly I remembered those three little dogs waiting patiently for me. 💡
A mini Black & White Cocker Spaniel would fit perfectly into the collection!

So I made one, showed him to my customer, received her approval — and this little guy has already travelled all the way from Türkiye to Australia and is now almost at his new home. 🇹🇷✈️🇦🇺

But before sending him on his journey, I finally had the perfect excuse to photograph the little gang together. 🐶🐶🐶🐶

And now I really have no excuse not to finish the project. 😂 Four more breeds have been waiting for their turn for over a year!

Every custom doll tells a unique story. ❤️

Fans of Kung Fu Panda might recognize the inspiration behind this custom order...

One of my recent custom orders started with a simple request:
"Could you create a martial arts turtle inspired by Master Oogway?"

That simple idea gave me the freedom to imagine every detail myself — from the removable shell and kimono to the belt and the overall character.

This is the finished result, and I couldn't be happier with how he turned out. 🥋🐢

🌍 Another country has joined the Divohobby world!

June brought a very special milestone — my handmade crochet creations have now reached New Zealand! 🇳🇿

Every pin on this map represents a city where one of my handmade creations has found a new home.

🔵 Blue pins mark the first delivery to a city.

Watching this map grow over the years has become one of my favorite parts of this journey. Every new pin tells a story, and every repeat city reminds me that handmade creations truly connect people across the world.

I honestly wasn’t planning to crochet horses anymore this year — I made some earlier in the summer and thought that was it for this season.

But then someone asked me to create a Fire Horse…
…and I just couldn’t resist 🔥🐴

This handmade crochet Fire Horse is soft, very cuddly, with a rich fluffy mane and tail.

The legs are movable (they don’t stand on their own), which makes the toy extra cozy and huggable.
