The DERIA system has been introduced in 17 bays in Göcek to protect the marine environment through a fixed mooring structure.

⚓ Fixed mooring buoys instead of anchors
Yachts connect to pre-installed underwater mooring lines, preventing anchor damage to sensitive seagrass areas.

🚤 DERIA App
Reservations and waste collection services are managed through the DERIA app, including 4 mobile waste pump boats operating in the region.

🌿 The goal is simple:
Protect marine life, preserve Posidonia seagrass, and ensure that Göcek remains beautiful for future generations.

Bavaria C46 Arke is on the last stretch. After a couple of stormy days, the crew finally can sail⛵️ her again. With the storm gone and the sun shining, a few more friends are helping bring Arke to Fethiye🐬

A short update:
"For the past 4 days, we had to wait out very strong Meltemi winds with over 40 knots🌬 from the north in Lavrion Marina (Athens)🇬🇷
Early this morning, at sunrise, we were able to set off safely with 10 knots of wind.
Currently, we are sailing⛵️ on a beam reach, and the Greek goddess is making 8.8 knots SOG with 16 knots of wind.
We are heading towards Turkey🇹🇷, and if the wind remains steady, we will pass the southern tip of Kos Island tomorrow morning.
Right now, the temperature on board is 5 degrees."
