Lucent Maritime Türkiye participated in career days hosted by Ordu University, Karadeniz Technical University, Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University, İskenderun Technical University, and Girne University.

During these career days, Lucent Maritime presented an overview of its career opportunities, corporate development vision, and international ship owner prospects. Productive and insightful discussions were held with interns and recent graduates on the structured career development model, continuous training programs, transparent evaluation processes, and long-term career planning. Additionally, participants' questions about the sector were answered, and the professional development and global career opportunities offered by CMA Ships and EPS were presented in detail.

We would like to thank all the participating universities and their students for their enthusiastic interest and gracious hospitality. We sincerely hope that our collaborations with universities will continue to flourish in the future.

Lucent Maritime presented the “She Sails Project” to the female maritime students of Istanbul University – Cerrahpaşa.

This initiative, supported by CGM, aims to strengthen women’s presence in the maritime industry and to ensure that they are provided with equal, meaningful and sustainable career opportunities at sea.

As the She Sails ambassador, Ms. Aylin Öztürk, Lucent Maritime Türkiye Recruitment Team Leader shared valuable insights about the program’s mission, its long-term goals and the professional pathways it offers for women who aspire to build their careers onboard CMA vessels.

Through this event, our intention was not only to inform but also to inspire and encourage young women to take confident steps into the maritime world, a sector where female talent is increasingly valued and actively supported.

We extend our sincere thanks to all the cadets who joined us with great interest, and to for its strong commitment to fostering gender diversity and empowering women at sea.

Throughout the events, we had one-on-one meetings with students and provided detailed information about career opportunities. In particular, we spoke with cadets and newly graduated candidates about our career development structure, training programs, evaluation criteria and long-term employment opportunities. We also answered their questions about the sector and introduced the professional growth possibilities offered under both CMA Ships and EPS.

We thank to all participating universities and their students for their interest and we look forward to continuing our collaboration.

Last week, we celebrated Lucent Maritime’s 10th Anniversary Gala Dinner, not only with our colleagues and partners from the maritime sector, but most importantly, with our seafarers who represent us proudly across the world’s oceans.

For us, this was more than a celebration, it was a reminder of why we exist. Lucent Maritime was founded with a simple purpose: to support seafarers in working under international standards with global shipping companies, ensuring fair opportunities, professional growth and respect at sea.

We were also proud to present 5-year and 10-year service awards to four of our seafarers whose dedication and loyalty inspire us every day.

Thank you to all our seafarers, partners and friends who have been part of this incredible journey. Here’s to many more years of sailing forward together.
