Today, August 12, we join the global community in observing International Youth Day, a day that recognises the contributions of young people and highlights the importance of creating opportunities for them to learn, participate and help shape the future. This year’s theme, “Different Contexts, Common Aspirations,” recognises that despite differences in backgrounds and circumstances, young people around the world share many common aspirations, including opportunities for education, meaningful work, skills development and a better future.
At HADCO, we are pleased to support these opportunities through our participation in the Ministry of Culture and Community Development’s Trailblazers: National Youth Apprenticeship and Community Development Programme 2026. We welcomed three apprentices to HADCO for a period of practical workplace experience in the Marketing, Human Resources and Food Service Departments and Creamery Novelties. They will gain exposure to our operations, working alongside our teams and developing valuable skills in a professional environment.
As we celebrate International Youth Day, we recognise the importance of providing our youth with opportunities to gain experience, discover their potential and prepare for the future. Happy International Youth Day!
