We have had some great comments from our repeat guests V & M who had a fabulous time in Uganda and Rwanda where they went chimpanzee trekking and gorilla trekking whilst also enjoying more conventional safaris in Akagera National Park in Rwanda and Queen Elizabeth Park in Uganda.

After all that excitement the clients flew to Fanjove Private Island off the Tanzania coast for some rest & relaxation.

Uganda is less expensive than Rwanda but the level of accomodation, service, food, and guiding reflect that.

If you would like to spend time with mountain gorillas or chimpanzees then we can advise you on where and when to go dependent on your budget.

If someone thinks they know where they want to go on safari they may contact the lodge directly thinking it will be cheaper. It won’t be and that lodge is certainly not going to suggest anywhere else which might be cheaper or better or just more suited to them. We have extensive knowledge all good camps and lodges and by talking to us you will get expert unbiased advice which could give you a better experience or even save you money.

Sometimes we will get an enquiry and work really hard on creating the perfect safari for someone only for that person to then use our itinerary and book direct thinking it’s cheaper. It’s not.

The 7th Wonder of the World. At this time of year 1.5m wildebeest and 200k zebra cross the crocodile infested Mara River between Tanzania & Kenya in search of fresh grass.
The best time to go is July to October and we know the best places to stay to avoid the crowds.

Stay at Deloraine House, on the lower slopes of Londiani Mountain, and visit a bygone era. Built in the 1920s by Lord Francis Scott the house is steeped in history and sits in beautiful gardens with a pool and tennis court. Visit Lake Nakuru which is just 45 minutes away.
The house is run by Cindy & Guy who offer warm hospitality and will es**rt you riding or give you a polo lesson on one of their 60+ horses.
