* Incredible architecture of Odessa. 60th years. Sadovaya street. This building was built in 1887-1888 on the site of the guardhouse by order of the Odessa businessman B. Libman.

The project architect is E. Mesner, with the participation of I. Morgulis and A. Nissa.

The house was known in Odessa because of bakery, confectionery and Liebman coffee house have licated there. The cafe was very popular among Odessa citizens because it was equipped with the latest technology at that time - with electric lighting.

The house and cafe, which is in it, is described in the stories of A. Kuprin, I. Bunin, V. Kataev. ❗️Now the house is in an emergency condition because of negligence of the ukrainian authorities.

Marazlievskaya start intensively built up at the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, but few sites have been built up quite late, like this house - built in 1909, architect B. Prohaska. *Incredible architecture of Odessa. Colonel Grigoriev House is on the corner of St. Catherine and Lanzheronovskoy streets, and is one of the four most beautiful buildings in Odessa. Its author - the architect G. Dimitrenko. Dmytrenko was born in Odessa in 1858. A native of Switzerland Dominikovich Fanconi Jacob was born in 1839. Confectionery skills studied in Warsaw with his uncle. Based in Odessa, Jacob in 1872 opened a pastry shop (in this house), which he called "Fanconi". Cafe "Fanconi" included in numerous literary works. About it wrote Sholem Aleichem and Kuprin, Pavlenko and L.Utesov, Kataev and A. Tolstoy, K. Paustovsky and Babel, I. Ilf and Petrov. Among them were V. Mayakovsky with D. Burliuk, Bunin and S. Utochkin.

It was built and rebuilt from 1830 to 1897 years, according to the tastes and abilities of three change of owners. First owner - Captain Horvath; Architect historians consider Torricelli G. In the 1840s he acquired the property of the Count Tolstoy M., who instructed Otto L. and Dallakva K. pereoforit interiors in the spirit of eclecticism. In the second half of the century house belonged to his son, Count Mikhail Tolstoy. #2017
