🛥️ TRAILER UPGRADE AT DELMARVA MARINE SOLUTIONS

Sometimes the trailer deserves a little attention too!

This one came in with the traditional carpeted wooden bunks, and we upgraded it with a new bunk system for a clean, durable setup.

We removed the old bunks, installed and adjusted the new hardware, and made sure everything was positioned properly to support the boat.

⚓ NEW BOTTOM PAINT — DONE RIGHT FROM THE START

There’s a little more to a new bottom paint job than just grabbing a roller and putting on some paint!

Here’s a look at the process we use at Delmarva Marine Solutions when applying a new bottom paint:

1️⃣ Primer — We start with the primer coat.

2️⃣ First coat of bottom paint — Once the primer is ready, the first coat of bottom paint goes on.

3️⃣ Second coat of bottom paint — We finish it off with a second coat for complete coverage.

Three steps. One freshly painted bottom. ✅

Fall is a great time to get projects like this taken care of so your boat is that much closer to being ready when spring arrives.

⚠️ DON’T FORGET ABOUT THE TRAILER! ⚠️

Your boat may be ready for the water…but are your trailer bearings ready for the road?

This one came in with a wheel bearing in pretty rough shape. A little preventative maintenance can go a long way toward avoiding a seized bearing, damaged hub, or being stuck on the side of the road with the boat behind you.

We got this one cleaned up, serviced and back together with a new bearing protector. 🔧⚓

As we head into fall boating and haul-out season, it’s a great time to have your trailer checked over.
