🚨 THIS is why we watch the river so closely 🚨
At 4:00 AM, the river was flowing at 313 cubic feet per second.
By 11:30 AM, it had skyrocketed to 2,410 cubic feet per second.
(Our number to NOT put you in is 1200)
The important thing to remember is......
it doesn't even have to be raining here
We constantly monitor rainfall upstream, because the water eventually makes its way to us. A river can go from calm to muddy, fast-moving, & full of debris in just a few hours & we are TUBES!!
These are the kinds of conditions we watch every day so we can make the safest decision for our floaters. When we close, it isn't because we want to ruin anyone's plans. It's because your safety comes first, every single time.
