September marks the return of a high-volume stretch for executive travel, with major international events creating overlapping periods of increased demand throughout the month.

For executive support teams, that can mean tighter vehicle availability, heavier traffic around key venues and hotels, and less flexibility for last-minute itinerary changes.

Our September Travel Alert highlights the dates when those pressures are most likely to affect executive movement, giving teams an opportunity to plan transportation before demand builds.

One thing we have learned from working with planners is that they rarely get to experience an event the same way everyone else does.

While attendees are networking, listening to speakers, visiting activations, or enjoying the experience, planners are still thinking three steps ahead. They are monitoring timelines, checking on suppliers, supporting stakeholders, solving issues before they become visible, and making sure every part of the event continues unfolding as intended.

On National Planner Day, we are recognizing the professionals who carry that responsibility and continue showing up with the same level of care, preparation, and professionalism every day.

To the planners we have the privilege of working alongside throughout the year, thank you for everything you do.

What happens when AI takes on more of the administrative lift?

For Executive Assistants, it can create more time and space for the work that depends on human judgment, discretion, and executive trust.

On August 27, Christina McGannon of Ball Corporation, Jen Tadema of Pfizer, and Sonja White-Trueh of Nominal are joining Savoya for a candid conversation about how they’re incorporating AI into their day-to-day work, what’s creating meaningful value, and what they’re learning along the way.

Moderated by Robyn Schimmels, Vice President of Sales at Savoya.

Hospitality teams attending the U.S. Open plan differently than they would for most corporate events.

Unlike conferences, sponsorship activations, or client dinners that operate on fixed schedules, the U.S. Open is influenced by live competition. Match timing, session exits, and guest movement throughout the day can influence demand patterns across Queens and Manhattan, creating a more dynamic operating environment for hospitality teams.

In our latest article, we explore how tournament week impacts guest movement, transportation demand, and hospitality operations throughout New York, along with key considerations for teams supporting clients at one of the city's largest annual events.

Which cities deserve a second look before booking executive travel this month?

Before itineraries are finalized, it's worth understanding what's happening on the ground.

National Aviation Day is a celebration of the professionals who keep executive travel moving.

While travelers may only experience a small portion of the journey, successful executive movement relies on countless teams working behind the scenes to coordinate schedules, manage logistics, communicate effectively, and ensure every detail comes together as planned.

From flight departments and aviation coordinators to pilots, dispatchers, FBO teams, executive assistants, security professionals, and transportation partners, every successful trip is the result of collaboration across an entire travel ecosystem.

Today, we recognize the professionals whose expertise, preparation, and commitment keep people, businesses, and opportunities connected every day.
Thank you for everything you do.

Average travelers evaluate black car service solely on whether pickup and dropoff happen on time.

Security Teams evaluate it with a much higher standard.

They assess professionalism, communication, discretion, accountability, and whether the people surrounding executives understand how to operate correctly in sensitive environments where small mistakes can create larger problems.

That is why Security Teams often notice details other departments may overlook. They understand that executive movement depends on consistency across every interaction, handoff, and environment throughout the day.

Over the years, we have had the opportunity to work alongside Security Teams that carry an extraordinary amount of responsibility while maintaining exceptionally high operational standards behind the scenes.

As part of Security Officer Appreciation Week, we are recognizing the discipline, judgment, and attention to detail these professionals bring to executive protection every single day.

What happens when thousands of the world’s leading cybersecurity professionals, enterprise security leaders, investors, and technology executives all converge in Las Vegas at the same time?

Black Hat USA becomes one of the most exciting and operationally demanding environments of the year for event planners and teams supporting their executive’s travel, and Savoya will be there.

You’ve already managed the agendas, stakeholders, venues, and relationships surrounding the week. Ground transportation becomes the final operational layer holding those movements together across Las Vegas.

If your team is supporting executives attending Black Hat USA, partner with a global transportation team trusted by 61% of Fortune 100 companies to keep executive movement controlled, coordinated, and running without disruption throughout the week.

One of the hardest parts of working in executive protection is that success often looks uneventful from the outside.

The executive arrives.
The meeting starts on time.
The movement feels smooth.
Nothing becomes a problem.

What people do not see are the Security Teams constantly evaluating risk, coordinating logistics, managing exposure, and making real-time decisions designed to protect executives without disrupting the pace of business.

That responsibility extends far beyond physical security. It influences every environment surrounding executive movement, including the partners and people involved along the way.

The professionals working in executive protection rarely receive public recognition precisely because their job is to prevent disruption before anyone else notices it. During Security Officer Appreciation Week, we want to recognize the people carrying that responsibility every day behind the scenes.
