Inspired by feedback from the Selene owner community and blue water adventurers like the YouTube duo The 71 Percent , the new Selene 52 Ocean Explorer is the perfect marriage of capability and style.

As part of the Ocean Explorer series, this 52-foot vessel features a more open layout, larger windows and sleeker exterior lines than a comparable Selene Classic Explorer. However, beyond the contemporary look, the Ocean Explorer maintains the performance and safety trademarks of every Selene. This includes a powerful raised pilothouse, a Portuguese bridge, and a seaworthy Class A Deep Hull designed for long-range yachting.

🚢 Delivery of Selene 60 #6050 in Seattle, Washington!

Chris and Elisabeth are over the moon 🌙 as they take delivery of their brand-new Selene Classic Explorer 60! Fresh off the cargo vessel and on her way to final commissioning. Affectionately named Full Circle, she is one step closer to beginning her cruising adventures.

Everyone at Selene Yachts Americas is excited for Chris and Elisabeth as they start this new chapter aboard their beautiful new yacht!!

After navigating the Pacific coasts of the United States and Mexico and wintering in the Sea of Cortez, Jeff and Kami Fehr rang in 2026 by transiting the Panama Canal aboard their meticulously refit Selene 59, Dock Holiday.

Jeff and Kami Fehr began to see the limitations of their semi-displacement boat after a cruise up the Inside Passage to Alaska a few years back.

After that trip, it was trawler time and they began their search for a full-displacement boat, coming upon a 2008, 59-foot Selene by chance.

Once they boarded her, there was no turning back—she was the ideal setup for the cruising couple. Somehow, they fit an extensive refit into just a year on the hard in their native Canada, making significant upgrades to a boat they would christen Dock Holiday. After that, there was no turning back.

After navigating the United States and Mexican Pacific coasts and wintering in the Sea of Cortez, Dock Holiday rang in the new year by transiting the Panama Canal.
