Today we are giving our Seawind 1000XL a final inspection before we do the Double Handed Farallons Race this Saturday. Let's hope we have wind, and no mishaps this year.

On Saturday March 20th a strong turn out of boats (especially multihulls) showed up for the annual Rites of Spring Race put on by the Oakland Yacht Club. We got our Corsair Sprint 750 pushing 16 knots, but the powerful flood current proved our downfall in this race. Oh well, for a race early in the season with great weather how can we complain?
