Alex's Hull Cleaning is an established hull cleaning company based in the Alameda, CA area looking for the right subcontracted divers to service our current and new customers at several marinas primarily in Alameda, Oakland, Berkeley, Emeryville, Richmond, and San Francisco. We are a small family business that prides ourselves on quality, integrity, and getting the job done right, every time. Our reputation is everything so we're not just looking for any hull cleaner, but one that can represent and maintain our values in this industry.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform a variety of hull cleaning tasks such as scrubbing the hull
Removing/replacing zinc anodes.
Reporting details such as paint condition, zinc capacity, maintenance/repairs needed etc.
Comprehend and practice company policies and procedures.
Maintain professional appearance and mannerism.
Comply with all Federal and State laws.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Be SCUBA Certified
Be insured
Own your own gear
Have valid drivers license
Have reliable transportation
Own a Smartphone (and know how to use it. I.e. email, text, and phone calls)
Be quick to respond to phone calls and text messages
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience is preferred but willing to train
Local to Alameda County preferred
PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS
Continuous treading of water
Repetitive wiping motions
Frequently climbing in and out of elevated dock
This position is subject to outside environmental working conditions including temperature and weather changes.
