A Colorado animal sanctuary has just weeks to find a new home for its rescued animals đź’”
For the past four years, Acres of Hope Ranch has been a safe haven for rescued horses and other animals, while also offering free programs where people can find comfort and connection through spending time with them.
But now, the ranch's landlord has decided to sell the property, and founders Heather and Tony Gamberg have been told they must leave by the end of October.
The couple says they don't currently have another property lined up or the funds to purchase one.
They're hoping to find land near the Weld and Boulder county border so they can continue caring for their rescued animals and serving the people who rely on the ranch. Acres of Hope is now asking the community for help finding a new location and raising the money needed to make the move possible.
