PATS operations and services change to it's Fall hours including opening South Lot and K-Lot from its summer hibernation. Don't forget that your license plate is going to be your parking permit. No need for a physical permit.

Beginning Fall 2026, The University of New Mexico’s Parking & Transportation Services (PATS) will continue Phase 2 of its License Plate Recognition (LPR) rollout by expanding virtual parking permits to faculty and staff parking zones and all remaining student parking zones. This advancement continues PATS’ transition toward a more efficient and sustainable parking system.
