"Boris, the owner, was spectacular throughout our move, coming over for a walkthrough to ensure he would have enough workers to get to job done (he also works every move himself). My husband is retired Air Force and we over the course of his career and our life after that we have moved more than 30 times, many of which we did ourselves, but many required movers. I say this to let you know we are very experienced with moving and we have NEVER had a happier, more helpful moving crew than this one. We moved from a large 4 BR house (with basement) to a 3 BR, 3 level townhouse (with no storage area). Boris brought two workers, J.C. and Mike, the day of the move and they helped with everything we needed. We had planned to have everything boxed before they got there, but were a bit behind, although we had over 80 boxes ready. They were very understanding and helpful, sometimes packing things with us, often pointing out heavier things we needed to be sure to pack so they could move them for us, but mostly just working around us without complaint. At the far end, I ‘directed traffic’ and they were very understanding when I missed with a couple of items of furniture and told them to put them on the wrong floor. When we walked through and found my mistakes they graciously moved the furniture to the right floor for us. They helped get each piece of furniture just where I asked and offered to put things back together for us which helped with the larger things. The price was GREAT and the quote Boris gave us was within $50 which was surprising since we had a lot of confusion about what was going and what was staying when he came for the quote. They even moved some large quartz rocks from my porch to my new deck (because they are ‘keepsakes’) without blinking an eye (and I can barely lift them). All in all it was a GREAT move thanks to Boris and Marco Polo Pro Moving!"

"Exceptional. Boris and crew were absolutely incredible and easy to work with. I've moved a half dozen times over the past 15 years or so and I can honestly say that this was the first time the experience worked exactly as advertised. Boris was very thorough in helping me plan the move and he gave me a firm quote and that is exactly what I paid. We had a couple of challenges with last minute packing and Boris and his team adjusted accordingly. We also encountered some challenges on the delivery side and Boris treated these challenges with a hugely positive attitude and creativity. Marco Polo was (and I can't believe I'm saying this about a moving company) a joy to work with. I am already recommending them to friends and relatives in the area and wholeheartedly endorse them. My prediction is that Boris and his team will change how people view moving! Exceptional customer service and engagement!! Well done!!"

"Needed a large sofa, two large armchairs, a wooden kennel/table packed into a rental truck to take down to my daughter in Virginia Beach. The furniture was heavy and unwieldy so didn't think my husband and I could easily do it, so went on Thumbtack to get some quotes for a small job such as this. Boris offered up a reasonable quote, we negotiated a time frame we could both manage, and he and Mike showed up on time. Both were very pleasant and took care of my little moving job in less than an hour. I very much appreciate the way Boris stayed in touch with me prior to the move so I didn't have to worry whether they would show up or not, especially as I was on a short timeline. He is professional, reasonable, timely, and I would certainly hire him again for any moving project I have. Highly recommend Marco Polo Pro Moving!"

I had a new sofa delivered but the furniture store delivery staff was not able to get a section of the couch up to the 2nd floor (narrow row house). I asked Marco Polo to hoist the couch through a window. When Boris arrived, he looked at the couch and at the staircase and said - we can get that up the stairs. And sure enough they did! I was impressed! Not only was he efficient and effective, Boris was courteous and a delight to work with. I highly recommend Marco Polo.
