Thank you very much to all of our sponsors of our gorgeous 11th Street Flock. As promised, the top three sheep have earned themselves a plaque and will be part of our promotions for next years fundraiser. The sheep will be removed from the fence this week and returned to their rightful owners. Our winners are:

I am very excited to share some of the projects that we have completed with our adorable sheep fundraiser. We have painted the front half of the white fence around the track, build 4 new benches for around the barns, hung rabbit cages in the center of the rabbit barn, and purchased flowers to spruce up grounds. Our remaining donations will be saved for a larger project in the future. 😊

How do you vote for your favorite sheep? 🐑

Easy! Once the album of sheep is uploaded, simply “like” the picture of your favorite one (or several). You can vote for as many sheep as you’d like. The top 3 sheep with the most votes by Sunday, August 18th at 6pm will be the winners of bragging rights and a plaque for their businesses. A post will be made when the album is uploaded.

Welcome to the 2019 Alpena County Fair Sponsor a Sheep fundraiser! Through this page you will not only be able to witness the improvements that are being done to the fairgrounds, but you are also encouraged to vote for your favorite sheep! Instructions will be posted above on how to do so.

The sheep will be hung on the fence outside of the fairgrounds located on 11th Street in Alpena. Be sure to drive by and check out all of the hand decorated sheep that local businesses have created.
