Got to visit the Golden Spike this past weekend. Spent probably 30 minutes to an hour chatting with the engineer. The coolest thing, in my opinion, was that they faithfully recreated the stub switches when they rebuilt everything in the 70s.

I stopped for lunch yesterday out by the Amarillo Railroad Museum and got some pictures of the Pantex White Train, which was used to move nuclear weapons from 1951 to 1987. It consisted of nuclear weapon cars and armored crew/security cars.
