🚨 SCAMMER ALERT – READ THIS 🚨

We’ve got people sliding into this page pretending to be ā€œwinnersā€ of draws trying to claim money that’s already been paid out.
Creating brand new accounts under the name of draw winners.

Let’s be real clear: that’s fraud. Not confusion. Not a mistake. Fraud.

If you didn’t win, you didn’t win. If you did win, you were already contacted and taken care of through THIS page. No ā€œextra steps,ā€ no ā€œsecond chance payouts,ā€ no ā€œjust send me money firstā€ nonsense.

If someone messages you or this page trying to pull that stunt:
šŸ‘‰ Don’t reply
šŸ‘‰ Don’t argue
šŸ‘‰ Don’t send a dime
šŸ‘‰ Report & block and move on

I’m not playing email bingo with scammers. This page doesn’t do reruns, re-draws, or mystery prize claims.

Stay smart. Stay sharp. Don’t get played.

This one’s hard to write.

The Long Haul Life was never just a page to me. Even though I wasn’t the one behind the wheel, I was there for the miles, the chaos, the quiet moments, and everything in between. Sharing that side of the road became my outlet… and something that meant more to me than I expected.

But life is pulling me in a different direction right now, and that means stepping away from something that’s been a big part of my day-to-day.

The page isn’t going anywhere. It’ll still be here. But posts will be few and far between, and it won’t be the same kind of real-time, behind-the-scenes content you’re used to.

Thank you for being here—for following along, for the messages, the support, and for making this feel like more than just a page.

Apr 25 – Up and at it early. Stopped in Weyburn, then crossed at Portal. Took a 30-minute break in Rugby and called it a day in Grand Forks.

Apr 23 – Picked up the load in Edmonton, then headed home for the night. Plan is to roll out in the early morning and grab new trailer tires.

Apr 24 – Got the truck packed up and hit the road. Stopped in Calgary for new trailer tires, then fueled up and kept moving. Made it to Moose Jaw to park it for the night. Winter decided to make a comeback, and of course the wind tagged along like it always does.

Apr 21 – The ā€œSurvived Saskatoon & Its Cratersā€ Edition

4:50am – Pre-trip, bathroom run, waking up the truck (and my soul).
5:15am – Rolling out before the world has its coffee.

6:34am – Saskatoon stop: DEF, fuel, and Timmie’s.
Shoutout to the lady at the counter… sis lined EVERYTHING except her lips. Respectfully, how do you miss the main event like that?

Also nearly got launched into another dimension trying to navigate the Husky parking lot. I swear those potholes are big enough to qualify as real estate. ā€œ2 bed, 1 bath, great drainage.ā€ There is a follower here that will understand šŸ˜‚

9:44am – Quick pit stop in Lloydminster.

12:40pm – Grabbed new rims and straps for the trailer. Nothing like a little mid-day shopping spree… trucker edition.

1:41pm – Pulled in to unload.
2:07pm – Empty and FREE. Best feeling of the day.

5:00pm – Finally HOME. Alive, intact, and only mildly traumatized by Saskatoon pavement.

Canadian Rest Area vs American Rest Area

Canada:
Pull in thinking you’re about to take a normal human bathroom break…
Nope.
You get a sad little concrete shed in the middle of nowhere with a stainless steel toilet, smelling like regret and bad decisions. No running water. No flush. Questionable aim from the last 47 people.
Bonus points if the door doesn’t lock and the wind tries to take you out mid-squat.

America:
Pull in and suddenly you’re at a damn park.
Green grass. Trees. Picnic tables. Proper buildings.
Actual toilets that FLUSH.
Running water. Soap. Sometimes even vending machines like you’ve entered civilization again.

Canada really said:
ā€œHere’s a box. Figure it out.ā€

America said:
ā€œTake a break, hydrate, maybe touch some grass.ā€

As a trucker, the difference is wild.
One feels like a survival challenge…
The other feels like a reset.

But yeah… tell me again how we’re the same šŸ˜‚
