Hey, I’m Cami šŸ‘‹. I’ve done 30+ flights with my kids and have learned so much about what you’ll need to feel successful and confident while traveling with kids.

Some of these things are more useful for long-haul flights, but most of them I would bring on a short flight as well!

Comment ā€œflightā€ for the links to the products I use and more suggestions for you!

Adjustable headphones that cover their ears are KEY. You’ll want the ones that plug in instead of Bluetooth headphones because the screens on airplanes have headphone jacks.

Also, a bonus with the specific headphones that I linked is that they have an extra jack in the side so you can connect 2 pairs of headphone together. My kids have used this to watch a movie together and both be connected to the same audio!

You know you’re going to have an emergency that requires an outfit change. Even if your kids are not babies anymore! I always bring a change of clothes in a gallon-sized storage bag so I can store the dirty outfit in there after the change.

It happens when you least expect it, so always be over-prepared.

I’ve heard that not all airlines allow the footrest, but I’ve never been told no. I use footrests for long flights when I know my kids will need to sleep and it transforms the seat into a bed.

This also helps them control their little legs so they don’t kid the seat in front of them!

The Seat to SleepĀ® inflatable airplane pillow is live saving! They can practically sleep sitting up by resting their head on it, or they can lay all the way don’t if there’s space. It folds them into a little cocoon and they sleep so well! A must for long flights.

Stickers are my best friend because they will occupy a toddler for a long time. I linked 3 different kinds of sticker books for different ages.

Youngest kids (1-2 years): use the Sticker Wow becuase they don’t have to use fine motor skills to do it.

Toddler (3-5) : use the reusable sticker scenes. They are getting better and peeling and sticking and will like being able to move the stickers around

Kids (6+) : paint by sticker books. These will keep a kid’s attention for so long if they need a screen break!

To the moms, dads, and all the parents. You are still growing up too and you need to get out from behind the camera and get in the picture with your kids! This is a big day for them and a big day for you too.

Shout out to Costco for having the best return policy.
Ninja Kitchen thanks for being at Costco, I don’t know how I will cope without my nightly protein ice cream… how many days will I last without it?

I have to pass on this tip that is saw in a video from a fellow mom. I usually shop online and do pickup because I hate searching for things inside the store, but this is going to make it easier!

Plus my kids thought it was a fun magic trick too!

Day 29: what’s in my bag for a day at Disneyland? Take a look!

I added as many links as I could from this video to ShopMy, so you can find them here.

I usually pack a lot more because I bring my kids along, but for a solo day this is all I needed!
