Runway17/35 closures are needed and are being scheduled for the following days next week.

Monday, June 22 @ 7 PM - Tuesday, June 23 @ 7 AM
Tuesday, June 23 @ 7 PM - Wednesday, June 24 @ 7 AM
Wednesday, June 24 @ 7 PM - Thursday, June 25 @ 7 AM
Thursday, June 25 @ 7 PM - Friday, June 26 @ 7 AM
Friday, June 26 @ 7 PM - Saturday, June 27 @ 7 AM

Each daily closure NOTAM will be issued approximately 3 days in advance as the need is verified by the construction contractor. Weather is a factor in the work being done, so inclement weather could cause cancelation of a NOTAM at any time. Please monitor LBX NOTAMS closely for the airport next week to ensure you have an accurate understanding of the availability of the runway at any point in time. Notice is hereby provided that Runway 17/35 is scheduled to be closed Friday, May 8, 2026, at 7pm and will reopen on May 9, 2026, at 7am. Please monitor published NOTAMs for the airport to verify this scheduled closure.

LBX Runway Closure Confirmed - April 23, 2026

The contractor has confirmed intentions to proceed tonight with work on the airfield adjacent to the runway. Runway 17/35 will close at 7PM local and reopen at 7am local tomorrow, April 24, 2026. NOTAM 04/024 is in effect for this event. Contact the airport office if you have any questions.
