Before today, SV XENA was just a dream in my head.

Today… she became real.

The covers came off, her name was revealed, and seeing it all come together hit a little harder than I expected.

I definitely did not cry.
There is absolutely no photographic evidence to prove otherwise. 😅

Not every day on a boat is sunshine, sunsets, and perfect sailing.

Some days are spent deep in the bilges, scrubbing places no one will ever see. Some projects don’t make for glamorous photos, but they’re just as important as the ones that do.

Taking care of the boat that takes care of you is all part of the journey. Every unseen hour of maintenance is another investment in the adventures still to come.
