If your BAD MOOD seems a little loud, there’s a good reason and an easy fix.

BAD MOOD has a 𝘩𝘪𝘥𝘥𝘦𝘯 hidden control that sets the overall loudness of both channels. You can either boost or cut by 6dB. Some of the early units were in a boosted state when they left the shop.

To change the setting, simply hold the right footswitch and adjust the MIX k**b. Same process as Lost + Found.

This feature was added towards the end of development and won’t be found in the printed guides, but the web guide is updated now to include it.

Tomorrow is the last day to order for Small Batch 2026 and we’re feeling a bit sentimental as this window closes. Small Batch lets us experiment in ways we might not otherwise, and we feel that BAD MOOD and L + F are very special outcomes of this model.
