This is the amazingly talented Keenan Hall! Keenan is a 10th grader at Antioch High School and loves to ride the school bus. He loves them so much, that he created an almost exact replica of his favorite electric bus out of recycled materials. The likeness is outstanding, many of our staff, including mechanics were very impressed by the details and work he put into it. Fantastic job Keenan, keep up the great work!

What's new with Antioch Unified Transportation...
Electric buses. We just replaced 4 older buses with 4 new electric buses. Here is a sneak peak inside, under the hood, some of the training on how to operate, and one of our Instructors, Nicole, showing off our shiny new buses. Look for these out on the road soon.

Antioch Unified Transportation was able to help Santa get to Marsh Elementary to visit with all of the kiddos today. Enjoy a few photos of Santa's visit with a few students, Santa's helper staff, and Marsh Office staff.
Santa's "delivery" driver is Veronica Parham, she has been with AUSD for 10 and half years and today was her last day, as she is retiring. Good luck Miss Veronica on your next chapter in life and thank you for your many years of service to our students and AUSD.
A few students even got to ride the bus with Santa to his next stop...

We had a great time at the Holiday DeLite’s Parade in Downtown Antioch last night. Thank you everyone who came out to ride the bus, walk and hand out school bus stickers, and decorate. If you have photos our Rudolph Bus, please share them. Check the comments for a video of the bus.

There was a great turnout last night for Big Truck Night! Lots of fun and food was had, and LOTS of horns a honking. Of course we let all of the kiddos get behind the wheel of the big bus to take turns being a School Bus Driver. (You only need to be 18 to learn to drive the bus, see you in a few years kids!)
