Anyone looking for a nice carriage dog? Three dogs were dumped on our property Saturday. I’m going to foster them for a short time and try to place them. I was determined to have animal control pick them up, but the older dog decided to make friends, and it turns out that he is really a lovely dog. Soooo, here they are. I’ve given them temporary names. Shadow is an intact male, and is apparently a year old. He is very smart, learns quickly, and desperately wants to be loved. He is pretty high energy, but can also chill and hang out. He loves to be in the carriage. The two younger pups are about 10 weeks old, and are both female. They were very skittish, so I don’t know as much about them, but have learned that the smooth coated girl, Cindy, is timid and very reserved. She will need some quiet kind handling. I wouldn’t recommend her for a family with young children. Ellie, is the rough coated pup with those cute tipped ears. She is bold, and highly food motivated. She is pretty high on the rough and tumble scale, and has been quicker to accept touch and a bit of play, than Cindy.
