Behind every smooth flight is a thousand details done right. ✈️🔧

Our team is performing a basic R&R (Remove & Replace) of the Aft Lavatory Water Pump on a BD Global, keeping critical aircraft systems operating as designed.

From major inspections to routine component changes, attention to detail and quality workmanship drive reliability in private aviation.

At Elite Jet Solutions, every task matters — because excellence isn’t built only during heavy maintenance, it’s built in the small details too.

Following up from our previous post on gaining access for X-Ray inspections on this Learjet 60, the findings are exactly why these inspections matter.

During inspection, cracks were discovered under the crew windshield frames — an area that isn’t visible without proper access and inspection methods. Catching structural issues early is critical for protecting the aircraft, crew, and long-term value of the airframe.

Another important reminder for operators and ground crews: the main entry door on the LJ60 is a structural component of the aircraft and must be fully closed and locked anytime the aircraft is being moved. Simple procedural discipline can prevent major structural damage and costly repairs.

The details behind the panels are what keep these aircraft flying safely.

Another Learjet 60 making its way into the hangar.

Gaining access for a 12-Year Inspection is where the real story begins. Panels open, systems exposed, and years of operation brought into focus. This phase is critical — because what you can’t see on the outside is what defines the health of the aircraft.

Our team is diving in with one goal: deliver a clean, detailed inspection while keeping safety, quality, and communication at the forefront every step of the way.

The LJ60 platform continues to prove why it remains one of the most respected aircraft in business aviation — and we’re proud to keep supporting the fleet.

NBAA in New Orleans was definitely an adventure.

Managed to get my vehicle booted… twice… in the same parking lot. Long story. No fruit involved. At this point all you can do is laugh 🤣

On the positive side, we connected with some potential new clients, which was the entire goal, and consumed enough Cajun food to last the rest of the year. I’ve never been to a city where the food ratings were consistently that high across the board.

One major industry takeaway we discovered that owners and operators need to be aware of:

Public Service Announcement for anyone operating or installing Starlink systems on aircraft — if a Starlink antenna/system fails after installation, the manufacturer will reportedly cover replacement parts under their T&Cs, BUT labor is not covered.

That means customers could potentially be billed the same labor hours it originally took to install the system all over again just to replace failed equipment. Depending on aircraft type and installation complexity, this could become a significant unexpected expense for owners/operators.

If you’re an MX provider, now is the time to ensure your customers fully understand this exposure before install approvals and future maintenance events.

The industry is moving fast. Communication and transparency with customers matters more than ever.

The view never gets old.
A full hangar is more than aircraft parked wingtip to wingtip — it’s trust, relationships, late nights, early mornings, and a team committed to getting the job done right.

From inspections and troubleshooting to heavy maintenance and AOG support, the momentum at Elite Jet Solutions continues to grow because of the customers and team behind it all.

Grateful for every operator, owner, broker, and partner who continues to put confidence in EJS. The ramp may be crowded… but we’re just getting started.

Day No. 1 at the 2026 NBAA Maintenance Conference 2026 and Jamie & I are officially on site in New Orleans.

The MRO talk is over… now we’re just here surviving conference coffee, shaking hands, and trying not to spend money on tooling we absolutely do not need.

If you see us walking around, stop and say hello.Mainly to Jamie.

He’s currently operating at a dangerous level of “nobody has complimented my outfit yet.” 😂✈️

Excited to be part of the NBAA Maintenance Conference panel, “Integrating MRO Strategy with Charter Efficiency,” led by Lanny Schindelmeiser with Elevate Jet.

This discussion will focus on how charter operators and MRO leaders can work together to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, manage aging aircraft, and better support operators in today’s labor-constrained environment.

Looking forward to joining a strong group of industry leaders in New Orleans.

Big Moment for EJS.

We’ve officially kicked off our first heavy inspection on a Challenger 601 — a major milestone as we continue expanding our large-cabin capabilities.

The 60-month inspection is where the real work happens — deep structural checks, system evaluations, and bringing the aircraft back to peak performance.

What you’re seeing here is post-maintenance engine runs — a critical phase where every system is verified, performance is validated, and the aircraft proves it’s ready to return to service.

This is the level of precision and accountability we bring to every project — and a big step forward as we continue taking on more heavy iron.

More to come as we push this one across the finish line.

We’re heading to New Orleans.

The NBAA Maintenance Conference is around the corner, and Elite Jet Solutions will be on the floor May 5–7.

This year hits different for us.

We’re coming in with a new facility at Fort Worth Meacham, expanded capabilities, and a clear focus on supporting large-cabin aircraft with the level of service operators actually expect—but don’t always get.

If you’re an owner, operator, or broker looking for a maintenance partner that moves fast, communicates clearly, and stands behind the work… let’s talk.
