Me-“Peffer’s Tree Service, this is Stephanie”

Customer-“Why would you provide a service if you’re not going to respond to calls and emails? I told my husband I don’t think anyone wants to work in Arnold”

Me:”honestly, super valid. Most of these companies are just a couple guys. The boss isn’t at home answering phones, he’s out working. We can normally keep up with the calls and emails in between jobs, however with the amount of work to be done up here, it’s been a little challenging to manage, and that’s why I’m here on my day off from my own job to respond and call people back, I apologize for the delays”

(If i had a dollar for every time I’ve had to say “I apologize for the delays” this year, we could close up shop and retire😅)

I wanted to share this interaction because this isn’t just Peffer’s. It’s all the local companies up here. It’s the Construction guys, it’s the electricians, it’s the roofers, it’s the tree guys! We’re blessed and stressed, ok? 🙏 😮‍💨

👋 Is it me or did we go from snowmagedon in February to April 3.5 seconds? 😮‍💨
