Award-winning photographer Benjamin Porter & culinary guide, Wanvisa Porter, lead small groups on trips to Asia & Latin America, focusing on food and photography. Fluent in Spanish, Benjamin first visited South America in 1975 and Asia in 1978 and he remains fascinated with both parts of the world. A native of Thailand, Wanvisa (Myo) is an adept and talented cook of Thai foods. The idea for Small

Footprint Tours spawned from thier passions for food and photography. The trips are designed to leave barely a “small footprint” wherever they visit, in order to blend in with the local culture and capture truly unique images. You do not need to be a photographer to join the tour; you can bring a point and shoot camera, a sketchbook, or travel unencumbered. Cooking classes with local chefs are offered to learn local recipes and enjoy wonderful cuisine. They select the destinations for their tours based on cultural richness and visual beauty.
