Designed specifically around lineman feedback and helicopter-based utility operations, the Air Reach Seat gives crews the ability to sit, stand, lean, and reposition throughout the job, helping improve comfort, reduce fatigue, and support more efficient work on the line.

This customer video highlights how operators are using the system during live power line maintenance operations to improve positioning and mobility while working at height.

Another benefit many power utility organizations may not realize is that we can fully refurbish Air Reach Seats once they reach the end of their 5-year usability mark, giving operators another 5-year extension to their equipment to keep it mission-ready.

Why we do what we do.
The recent story from the White Mountains, where the New Hampshire Army National Guard and volunteer teams brought a hiker to safety after a 15-hour rescue mission, is a powerful reminder of the stakes involved in search and rescue.

At Air Rescue Systems, we design and manufacture SAR and hoist products with a focus on protecting the men and women who operate in the most demanding environments. Every cable, strap, and extraction system is engineered with precision because lives depend on it, supported by training that reinforces readiness when it matters most.

We’re grateful for the brave crews who answered the call, and honored that ARS equipment supports units like the NH Army National Guard in missions where seconds matter.

Our team hit the field for a full-scale Search and Rescue Exercise, executing multiple hoist evolutions with both a litter and basket, powered by the Vita Rescue System.

Every lift simulated the real thing: terrain challenges, wind shifts, and the constant demand for precision in motion.
