A few of our favorite places to bike to in Aspen this Fall!
While we still are holding on to warmer days and looking forward to golden aspen trees groves, visit these places!
โจ Wood Creek Tavern: Take the Rio Grande Trail, a scenic 7.5-mile path that winds through breathtaking meadows, alongside the glistening Roaring Fork River. Established in 1980, Woody Creek Tavern is situated in a charming and rural setting, surrounded by the picturesque beauty of the Colorado mountains. It has gained a reputation for its unique and eclectic dรฉcor, with walls adorned with artwork, photographs, and memorabilia.
โจ Maroon Bells: With a round trip of approximately 20 miles, bike on this scenic route that winds through golden aspen groves and offers glimpses of the majestic Maroon Bells peaks.
โจAspen Bike Trails: Here are a few of our favorites!
Maroon Creek Trail: Starting from the Aspen Recreation Center, the Maroon Creek Trail leads toward Maroon Lake. The trail is paved and offers breathtaking views of the Maroon Bells along the way. The destination is a popular spot for photography and relaxation.
East of Aspen Trail: This trail runs from downtown Aspen to the Aspen Airport Business Center (AABC). The paved path is well-marked and allows cyclists to explore the eastern part of the city while staying away from traffic.
Brush Creek Trail: While not directly in Aspen, the Brush Creek Trail connects Snowmass Village to Highway 82, passing through beautiful scenery. The trail is paved and offers a pleasant way to explore the Snowmass area.
