National Truck Driver Appreciation Week 2026

As we wrap up National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, we want to highlight five of our amazing drivers who embody Mustang’s F.O.C.U.S. values each and every day.

F. – Fast & Flawless: Keith Patton has been a valued member of our team for 22 years. He is fast, flawless, and trusted by teammates and customers alike.

O. – Ownership: Jeremiah Travis recently joined Mustang and quickly demonstrated his commitment to taking ownership each day and ensuring Mustang delivers top-tier service.

C. – Cheerful: Brian Parker is known at Mustang for his cheerful attitude toward work and life. He’s a skilled driver with decades of experience and a perennially cheerful outlook!

U – ‘U’ Know Me: William Bierman represents our ‘U Know Me’ value through the strong, personalized relationships he has built with customers and team members, built on a foundation of communication and partnership.

S. – Safe & Professional: Joe Markland’s 18-year tenure with Mustang has been marked by consistently safe, professional, and reliable service. He’s known for placing the safety of the freight, the team, and the mission above all.

On this day 250 years ago, the Second Continental Congress approved the final draft of the Declaration of Independence in Philadelphia, PA. The document affirmed the creation of a country based on the idea that all are entitled to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Centuries later, that revolutionary idea continues to bind us together in hope and unity—regardless of our differences.

Mustang wishes all of its employees, friends, and followers a joyful celebration of America’s 250th birthday!

Happy Juneteenth!

Today Mustang celebrates our nation’s ‘second independence day’ –

When, on this date in 1865, enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas, were finally informed they were legally free.

That announcement sparked celebrations that have taken place annually for over 160 years. Today we celebrate, honor, and reflect on this history.

Today’s Medical Donation Highlights: Supporting Students and Wildlife in Pennsylvania and Delaware

Mustang is proud to give Prospect Medical Holdings’ abandoned medical supplies a second life, helping them make a difference far beyond their original purpose. This spring, we’re supporting both local students and wildlife rehabilitation efforts through donations of useful supplies.

Supporting Students at East Lansdowne Elementary School

Mustang was happy to donate waterproof — and paint-proof — ponchos to East Lansdowne Elementary School in Delaware County, PA. Teachers there report that students enjoy wearing the colorful ponchos during arts and crafts projects, as well as at lunchtime, to help protect school uniforms from paint, art supplies, and spills.

Helping Wildlife at Tri-State Bird Rescue & Research, Inc.

Mustang was also proud to support Tri-State Bird Rescue & Research, Inc. in Newark, Delaware, with donations of reusable and disposable surgical gowns, N95 and surgical masks, face shields, and nitrile gloves. These supplies will help veterinarians and staff care for injured, orphaned, and rehabilitating birds in the organization’s busy clinic. From Hospital Resources to Homes: Supporting Delaware & Pennsylvania Communities

Recipient organizations: Friendship House and New Life Furnishings

Supplies: N95 masks, nitrile gloves, weatherproof ponchos, other PPE and daily living supplies

How they’ll help: Friendship House provides support for those experiencing homelessness and houselessness throughout Delaware. Donated PPE and daily living supplies will be utilized by beneficiaries in crowded shelter environments as well as when residing outdoors.

New Life Furnishings provides furniture and housewares to those in need, particularly those transitioning from homelessness to permanent housing in Delaware and Pennsylvania. Mustang staff delivered 21 Crozer hospital rollaway beds to New Life Furnishings, which distributed them each Sunday this winter and spring to single moms with children. The rollaway beds came with mattresses and will provide perfectly sized beds for children while their families work toward securing permanent beds for them.

This winter, family and friends of Mustang, including Mustang kids, also packed PPE supplies into Care Bags for unhoused neighbors in need.
