Heads turned at Astoria Regional Airport today as a rare Piaggio P.180 Avanti touched down! With its futuristic design, rear-mounted propellers, and jet-like performance, this Italian-built aircraft is one of the most distinctive and exciting planes flying today. Not something you see every day on the Oregon coast!

🇺🇸 Look who dropped by the Port of Astoria Regional Airport today! 🇺🇸

We had the absolute honor of welcoming a crew of U.S. Marines who flew into our airport on a King Air 350.

They made a quick pitstop to top off their fuel tanks and grab some well-deserved food before heading back up into the skies.

It’s not every day we get this kind of horsepower on our ramp, and we are thrilled to serve them. To the crew: thank you for your service, and you're welcome back anytime!
