“How can I do what’s never been done before?” That’s the question Yadina asks when she realizes there’s never been a female President. This is a vital question right now for millions of girls (and boys). And so, in the Xavier Riddle movie, she goes back in time to meet FOUR women who have done what no one has ever done before, including Sally Ride, Amelia Earhart, and this woman, Jackie Joyner-Kersee. One of the greatest highlights of working on the film was spending time with her. This is the moment when she first saw her cartoon version by Chris Eliopoulos. So now, it’s time to inspire your own kids. As hopefully everyone knows, Atchison has a rich railroad history! So much so, that the Atchison, Topeka, & Santa Fe Railroad started right here in town, over 160 years ago!
