Happy “Labrador” Weekend! 🐾

We would like to introduce you to the newest member of our “security” team, Miss Ambrosia.

Ambrosia is an English Labrador from Rocky Flats Kennels and will be working along side Mr Ridge.

You will be greeted with a wagging tail from Ambrosia and Ridge will always greet you with a bark!

As always treats are welcome! 😂

We are open normal hours on Labor Day.

Thank you to everyone who came out for 5th Saturday lunch and to Batter Axe Waffles for keeping us fed.

It was a beautiful day for flying, we met several of our airport neighbors and loved seeing all the all kiddos checking out the airplanes.

Also, let me just say if you see Batter Axe Waffles in town, GET ONE!

It’s daylily season!

This is the first summer for our Flight Garden at the McMinn County Airport and the daylilies have been putting on a show.

All the flowers and shrubs in the Flight Garden are Tennessee natives or have fun aviation themed names. Every thing is labeled and hopefully soon I’ll have a sheet telling about each plant. Stop by the airport and take a look.

All our daylilies were purchased from Oakes Daylilies in Corryton, Tennessee. This weekend is then annual daylily festival if you want to see 1000’s of daylilies in bloom!
