The company was started in 1924 by Floyd Waddell when trucking was by horse and wagon. Ellis Waddell, son of Floyd, ran the business and then his wife Helen took over after his death. Walter Waddell, son of Ellis, and Marty Waddell are the current owners/operators along with Walter's wife Brenda and Marty's wife Pam.
