Jackson Evans Logistics has an immediate need for a Class A CDL driver for Hot Shot , 40 ft flatbed loads. This is an over the road position. Our drivers stay typically stay out 5 to no more than 14 days.

Our ideal candidate is:
-Class A CDL
- someone with at least 5 years experience tying down flatbed loads(straps, tarp)
-someone willing to run out state loads.
-someone willing to work at least 5 days a week.
-someone with a verifiable history of being on time and reliable.
-someone with a history of handling shipper / carrier paperwork with care and professionalism.
-someone who takes pride in delivering the load on time
-Drivers must have clean driving records and 1-2 years over-the-road hauling experience.
-Drivers must be flexible regarding work hours and able to work weekends and holidays.
-Drivers must keep a detailed log of travel time, mileage and sleep hours to document that they have complied with the regulations set in place by the Department of Transportation.
-Fill up on fuel, clean truck, and wash windows.
-Report to a dispatcher any incidents encountered on the road.
-Inspect their trailer before and after the trip, and record any defects they find.
-Follow accident procedures if an accident occurs.
-Report serious mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel.
-Keep their truck, and associated equipment, clean and in good working order.
-Take rest periods during trip.
-Take special precautions while driving.
-Must be 25 or older
-High School diploma or equivalent
-A clean driving record
-Ability to follow GPS and use maps accurately
-Must possess a high degree of integrity and trust along with the ability to work independently
-Minimum 1-2 years of flatbed hauling experience.
