Southern Infrastructure 🇳🇿 has selected LEITNER to build Oceania’s first urban ropeway in Queenstown, connecting the airport with the city center through a modern and efficient gondola system. 🙌

This new link offers a reliable and scenic alternative to the congested Frankton Road, featuring:
🚡 20-minute end-to-end journey
🚡 5 stations across 3 sections
🚡 Capacity of up to 3,000 passengers per hour

The first section for this huge project is planned for 2029. A big milestone and step forward in sustainable urban mobility. We're proud to be realizing this amazing project!🚡🌍
