Superior Flight Academy Is Back
After years away, Superior Flight Academy is returning with a new mission, a new model, and the same commitment to aviation that started it all.
Superior Flight Academy was originally built as a traditional flight school with a simple goal: provide quality flight training while helping aspiring pilots turn their passion for aviation into a career. Over the years, that journey grew far beyond the flight school itself and into some of the most demanding corners of professional helicopter aviation.
Today, we are bringing the Superior Flight Academy name back, but we are not reopening as a traditional flight school.
Instead, Superior Flight Academy is being rebuilt around something we believe is often missing in aviation education: real world mentorship and practical career preparation.
Our focus is helping pilots bridge the gap between earning certificates and actually becoming confident, capable aviation professionals. That means providing individualized mentorship, ground instruction, checkride preparation, career guidance, scenario based training, and insight drawn from real operational experience.
Our experience comes from years spent throughout professional helicopter aviation, including offshore oil and gas operations, search and rescue, helicopter air ambulance, NVG operations, aviation management, Chief Pilot responsibilities, and flight school ownership.
Those experiences taught us something important.
Passing a checkride makes you a certificated pilot. Building a career requires much more.
Superior Flight Academy exists to help pilots understand that "much more."
Whether you are working toward a certificate, preparing for a checkride, trying to land your first professional flying position, or figuring out how to take the next step in your aviation career, our goal is to provide the mentorship and perspective that we wish every developing pilot had access to.
This is not simply a reopening.
It is the next chapter of Superior Flight Academy.
The aircraft may have changed. The model may have changed. But the mission remains the same: helping the next generation of aviators become better pilots and build better careers.
Welcome back to Superior Flight Academy.
Training. Mentorship. Opportunity.
Elevating skills. Expanding futures.
