So, our Route66 vacation has been paused, yes, paused! Tonya and I will finish the final leg of our journey in the near future. Our reason, we want to finish this journey by making memories with 2 very special people, our grandkids Max and Banks. Sometime in the very near future we are going to start where we stopped, at the Country-Aire Restaurant on Rt. 66 in Atlanta, IL. We have made so many memories in the past 2 weeks, seen so many cool places, eaten some of the most fabulous food this country has to offer, but most of all we have met some wonderful people. It’s amazing how a person can walk into a place not knowing anyone and leave feeling like you have known them forever!! We live in a beautiful country! The United States is a wonderful, beautiful place. We have so much to offer, so many stories that need to be told!! Watch for the next chapter of this journey! Tonya and I would like to thank everyone who has followed along, commented, liked our posts, text us , and called us. I hope you have enjoyed this as much as we have!
