Imagineering the Disney Wish: Construction Updates from Germany

Wheelhouse Installation
The wheelhouse, also known as “the bridge,” is an incredibly important part of any ship. The captain and officers command the entire ship from this location.
The wheelhouse for the Disney Wish is nearing completion and is part of a huge block to be installed on the ship in the building dock. We have all eagerly awaited this moment, as this block will truly give the Disney Wish an identity. We would even go as far as saying that it gives our ship a face!

Bow Installation
All the ships in our fleet have very elegant lines with sleek hulls and long bows, and the Disney Wish will certainly carry on this tradition. As construction of our newest ship is progressing at full speed, another important milestone has been achieved.

Disney Cruise Line Final Payment Extension Update

🛳Beginning, August 4, 2021, a temporary final payment extension was added to Disney Cruise Line sailings through Jan. 31, 2022. As part of this policy, we are temporarily extending final payment until 60 days prior to sailing for Guests booked in unrestricted stateroom categories.

🛳For sailings through January 31, 2022, we are temporarily extending final payment until 60 days prior to sailing for Guests booked in unrestricted stateroom categories. This means that those Guests who have not yet reached their final payment due date can wait until up to 60 days prior to sailing to pay for their cruise vacation. Onboard cruise activities can be scheduled within your Castaway Club booking window once final payment is received.
In addition, we are temporarily relaxing our cruise cancellation fee schedule for sailings through January 31, 2022, will receive sea mail. The policy in full will be on the cruise website.

Disneyland Resort Foodie News: Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures at Napa Rose, Goofy’s Kitchen, and More Reopening!

We are excited to announce Princess Breakfast Adventures at Napa Rose will again be delighting kids (and adults!) with everyone’s favorite Disney Princesses. We also have more fan-favorite restaurants opening as well!

Explorers and adventurers will be thrilled to know Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar will start taking reservations for lunch AND dinner beginning Aug. 11, with the first reservation date Aug. 15.  We all know it’s a real jungle out there, so be sure to book a reservation!

Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures at Napa Rose at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa opens on Aug. 26, with booking available Aug.11.

Ahead of the return to sailing on August 9 on the Disney Dream, Disney Cruise Line is reminding Guests to complete all steps leading up to sailing aboard the ship. These include:
* Pre-Trip COVID-19 Testing
* Embarkation COVID-19 Testing
* Travel Insurance
* COVID-19 Vaccination
* Safe Passage Website/Registration
* Online Check-In
* Transfers from OIA to the Port
Please ensure all Guests who are sailing have completed the steps above prior to embarkation.
