Augusta Age-Friendly Working with AARP, our committee is working towards making Augusta, Maine a livable community for people of all ages.

Augusta Age-Friendly is a committee of community members devoted to making Augusta, Maine a livable community for people of all ages; supporting healthy aging, aging in place, and inter-generational work and fun within the community. The committee is looking at making improvements to Augusta's eight domains of livability; outdoor spaces and buildings, transportation, housing, social participation,

respect and social inclusion, civic participation and employment, communication and information, and community support and health services.
