Midland's morning news came with a wire and cable story. First Alert 7 featured our new Midland distribution center on Wake Up West Texas today.

We put a building here for a simple reason: Odessa and Midland are the two busiest destination cities in our entire Texas network. Permian distributors were already buying from us; their material just spent a day or more on a truck from Dallas or Houston. Now, DWC is simplifying the cable buy by opening this Midland facility to ensure it's stocked locally, ready for same-day will-call when the job can't wait.

That's why we opened in Midland.

The Midland Reporter-Telegram spoke with Travis about our new facility at 4501 N. FM 1788. Before it opened, our Permian Basin distributors were served out of Dallas or Houston — a day or two added to every order. Now they get will-call pickup and same-day cut-to-length on core lines.

Energy, data centers, and the electric grid are all building in West Texas at the same time. Our distributor partners shouldn't be the ones waiting on wire.

We opened July 6. We're already planning to grow.
