Our 2026 Lake Austin boat season is being cut short! 🌊

The City of Austin and LCRA have announced a planned Lake Austin drawdown beginning October 12, with the lake being lowered approximately 10 feet for shoreline, dock, vegetation, and maintenance work.

That means if you’ve been wanting to spend a day on Lake Austin with Big Tex Boat Rentals… NOW is the time to book. ☀️🍻🚤

Weekend availability is limited, and our remaining Lake Austin dates will go fast.

But don’t worry. BOAT SEASON ISN’T OVER!!!

During the Lake Austin drawdown, we’ll be temporarily moving our Lake Austin fleet and operations over to Lake Travis, giving you even more boats and options to choose from.

The Biggest Charter Fleet in Austin.

Seeing nearly our entire fleet tied together in one place was a surreal moment.

Six years ago it was just three boats.

Today it’s more than twenty.

Every boat represents thousands of memories made on Lake Travis and Lake Austin.

Six years later, we’ve grown into Austin’s largest charter fleet, but we’re still the same family business answering the phones, loading coolers, driving boats, and doing everything we can to make your day on the water unforgettable.

We can’t wait to see what the next chapter brings. 🤠🚤
