We want to take a moment and shine light on both Mental Health Awareness Month and Foster Care Awareness Month. The connection between the two is impossible to ignore. Children and teens in foster care often carry the weight of trauma, grief, uncertainty, and loss. Their mental health matters just as much as their physical safety. Healing happens through stability, support, compassion, and access to care.
This month, we recognize the importance of showing up for foster youth not only with resources, but with understanding, patience, and advocacy. Every child deserves to feel seen, heard, supported, and safe. By raising awareness for both mental health and foster care, we help break stigma, encourage conversations, and remind young people that they are not alone.💚
Because caring for children also means caring for their emotional well-being. We are proudly partnered with organizations in our community that are committed to supporting Foster Youth, DM us for guidance on how you can serve this community.
