Airport Valet Express cares about their passengers.
Recently, we had a gentleman who ran in here at the last minute to purchase a ticket for a bus that was ready to leave. He got his ticket, grabbed his bags and ran out the door, jumping on the bus just as the driver was ready to shut the door. We watched as the bus left the parking lot and drove off into the sunset. It was after 6 pm and everyone was ready to call it a day when we noticed a wallet on the counter. Our passenger had run off without his wallet that contained his ID, money and more. Ouch!
The bus was now about 20 minutes down the road. The manager called the driver and asked where she was.
Mettler.
She told the driver to pull over, she was on her way with the passenger's wallet.
At that point, the passenger didn't even realize he'd forgotten it, but was grateful we'd found it.
The manager found the bus in Mettler, gave the passenger his wallet and finally called it a day.
"Of course, we hope these things don't happen often, but when they do, we make it a point to do what we can to make it right. That is the advantage of being locally owned and operated," says Phil Rudnick, owner of Airport Valet Express.
