Officer Dave Manuel made a new friend today when Sasquatch stopped by the terminal to pick up a pal.

Naturally, Dave welcomed him to BGR. Naturally, Sasquatch had snacks. And naturally, someone made sure there was photographic evidence. 📸

Between Monty, Spuddy and now SASQUATCH, we're starting to wonder exactly what kind of unofficial transportation hub we're running around here. 😂

Apparently, you leave town for ONE conference and this is what happens. 😂

While BGR’s social media manager was away last week, Spuddy made a special trip to the airport, Monty somehow got his paws on a suitcase, and an entire mascot storyline unfolded before our eyes. 🥔🫎✈️

We’re not entirely sure where Monty thought he was going, but we DO know he was pretty happy to see his pal Spuddy.

Thanks to our friends at the Maine Potato Board for stopping by BGR to keep Monty entertained. 😂

Now that we know what these two are capable of...who should Monty invite to BGR next? 👀

There’s a lot happening behind the scenes every time an aircraft arrives at BGR, and right now, our FBO team is looking for two new people to help keep it all moving.

🛫 Aviation Service Agent: Coordinate aircraft arrivals, support passengers and crews, arrange services and transportation, and provide the customer service that helps make BGR a welcoming stop for aircraft from around the world.

📦 Ramp Supervisor, UPS Operations: Lead from the ramp, overseeing our weekday UPS operation while working alongside the team on aircraft fueling, movement, cargo handling, and the daily coordination that keeps everything running safely and efficiently.

Two very different roles. One fast-paced aviation environment. And one team connecting Bangor and Maine to the world every day.

Ahead of schedule? Now THAT’S an airport construction update we love to share. 🙌✈️

Another phase of Taxiway Alpha is complete, putting us in a great position as we keep making the most of every remaining day of Maine’s construction season.

A huge shoutout to the crews from Gordon Contracting Inc and everyone working behind the scenes to keep this project moving safely and efficiently! There’s still work to be done, but every freshly paved stretch gets us one step closer to a stronger BGR.

And yes… we know what season comes after construction season. We’re simply choosing not to discuss it yet. 😂❄️

The crew flipped another phase AHEAD of schedule at the Bangor International Airport. 8186 TONS of pavement placed this week by the paving crew in Bangor and Greenville.

When Maine Football Head Coach Jordan Stevens joined us on 𝑶𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑭𝒍𝒚, he gave us a behind-the-scenes look at what a night on the road really looks like for the Black Bears- from the travel itself to those important hours at the hotel spent eating together, playing games, building friendships and strengthening the connections that make this team feel like family.

Well… now they’re taking us along for the ride. 🐻💙

We loved getting to see exactly what Coach was talking about, because getting there is only part of the journey. The moments in between matter, too.

Today we're celebrating some of the best coworkers at BGR, and without question, the ones with the best sniffers. 🐶✈️

Tina, Joki, and Tom work alongside their partners from the Bangor Police Department Airport Division, helping keep our airport, our aircraft, and all the people who pass through BGR safe each and every day.

They're hardworking. They're highly trained. They're always ready to answer the call. And yes... they're also the bestest pups around. ❤️🐾
