Let the races begin! 🐛💨💨💨

🐛🎉 THE WAIT IS OVER! DAY ONE IS HERE!

The 49th Annual Woolly Worm Festival opens today at 9AM in Banner Elk, and we’re ready for a weekend full of racing, shopping, food, and a whole lot of woolly fun!

🥶 A little weather heads-up: It’s a COLD one today! Highs are only in the 40s, with feels-like temperatures dipping into the 20s throughout parts of the day. Bring those warm jackets, hats, gloves, and plenty of layers. Our woolly worms aren’t the only ones who need a fuzzy coat today!

📲 PLAN YOUR VISIT: Our official Festival Guide and remote parking maps are linked in our bio! Check them out before heading our way for everything you need to know, including vendor listings, festival maps, parking information, and more.

Bundle up, bring your favorite people, and come make some memories in Banner Elk! 🍂
