Whats your Wednesday Cruise?

This week you will have Tom Williams leading you on a great backroads route to MIKES ITALIAN in West Baraboo.

Wish we could join you but Marla has her eye on a true shrimp dinner on the Gulf Coast. Looks like we will be ending our Cruise The Coast getaway early as a storm in the Gulf is sending everyone out of this area.

Don't miss this one ... I am somewhat saddened to see this Baraboo car, of local icon status, going up for sale. It is one that I personally have drooled over when Charlotte Ramsey would bring it to the Car Shows over the years. But here it is ... an excellent 1969 Buick Skylark GS, for your pondering over and possibly tossing an offer in.

Baraboo Cruisers & Friends,

Here comes this week's Cruise Night, with Chuck & Rita at the helm.

We are hoping to see you and that cruisin car / truck in the Festival Lot (West Baraboo) on Wednesday (Sept 30) evening for a 5:00pm departure.

While Rita ensures us that they have a spectacular route, she is leaving Chuck in charge of weather & navigation. Their destination, with you joining them, will be BRONCO BILLY'S. We have always had good service and meals here, and look forward to another.

We have some company in town, that you may want to check out.

The "KAISER - FRAZER OWNERS CLUB" is having their Fall Midwest Meet at the Fairfield Inn (next to Pizza Ranch, Baraboo) on September 17-20.

If you stop out there you will find an assortment of the early arrivals, with more of these collector cars to show up over the weekend.

Keep an eye peeled for them around Sauk County, and if you find one appearing lost or in need of assistance. Please don't be too shy to stop and offer some assistance. - Dennis

Baraboo Cruisers & Friends,

We have a little change for this week's Wednesday Cruise [Wed., Sept. 16th] ... we will NOT be meeting in the parking lot at Festival!

But rather we will meet at "THE PINES Senior Care Center" (1050 Prairie Street, Prairie du Sac). This is our annual visit to their facility, as a mini-car show followed up by a Cruise at 5PM. The event starts at 'The Pines' at 3:00pm and runs until 5:00pm. If you can't get there at 3pm, do come as soon as you can make it.

The Pines residents & staff will conduct their own 'judging' of the vehicles on display with an awards program prior to 5pm. So do try and get there for the judging by residents. (PS - Bob, no you can't slip them a $5)

At 5:00pm, Bev & Jack will lead us on a 30 minute Cruise to an area dining site.

SECOND - YES we are on for a Cruise this week (Wed., Sept 9) - a Mystery Cruise well off the Rail Splitter Highway.

Let's see you in the parking lot on Wednesday, for a 5pm departure. It is a good one! Come enjoy & let's hear your guesses!

LASTLY for the Ladies.., a member has something to (free) raffle off to one or more of our Ladies in the parking lot that night. Come on out Ladies ... only for you!

BARABOO CRUISERS & FRIENDS,
This Saturday (Sep 5) is the Pardeeville Car Show.

As in years past, we will be gathering up in the parking lot across from Log Cabin Restaurant (Baraboo) for a planned departure promptly at 7:00AM.

We will drive over to Portage, and meet up with other cars in the lot east of Trecek Chevrolet (Hwy 51-South). We will depart from there promptly at 7:30AM, for a drive to the Pardeeville Show Grounds, arriving there at about 8AM.

So if you wish to join us, be timely!

YOUR WEDNESDAY CRUISE NITE ... for Wednesday, Sept 2nd:

Your dining site will be at an old time favorite, ZEMAN'S OLD HIGHWAY HOUSE on County BD in West Baraboo.

Plans are to gather in the lot ( Festival Foods, West Baraboo) for a timely departure at 5:00PM. John & Lucinda have put together a great backwoods cruise for you.

Enjoy the ride & the evening meal.
