Sun May 31st trip report:

Hello folks,

We had another trip today with the kids from the Lacey Township High School Fishing Club. One over slept so out we went with Andrew and Robert. Made our way out and was a tad windier than we would have liked but knew it was gunna drop out. Got to our first spot had 1 short and 2 bites. Made a move and had a good shot at them with Andrew catching his first fluke ever and it was a big one at 21”. We went on and did that again but got mugged up fast. Bounced to a new area and had a few more shots and Robert grabbed his next. When that slowed made one more move at the tide switch and had em decent for the first time this season for about 25 minute’s. The boys did well with 21 shorts and 2 k in the boat today. Way to go guys!

The fish are starting to move into new areas now and a new body of fish showed up today as well which is a great thing for things to come.

We have a few more trips with these guys before will be back to our regular schedule.

Thanks Jeremy Muermann for setting this up this year.

Thursday 5/28 update:

Hello everyone,

Last few trips saw improvement on fluke fishing. Had waters from 59-63 degrees depending on the tide but it’s getting there. Had our biggest fish of the season landed by Leonard on Tuesdays am trip. Finally broke the 20 fish mark on that trip too with a handful of keepers. Tuesday pm was a tad slower but still wound up with 17 fish and 2 for the table that trip.

Things are starting to go in the right direction and the fish are starting to move to other areas now too so will be bouncing around more now then we were.

We have a high school fishing club that rented us out for a while so our next public open boat trips aren’t for a little while but will be posted below.

*** The fan favorite is back!!!!***

We will start our pm plug trips again back up on Fri pm June 12th! Lot of clients of ours really enjoy this trip!

Upcoming available schedule:

Wed June 10th Am 5 hr fluke trip - spots available

Fri June 12th pm plug trip - spots available

Sat June 13th 5 hr fluke trip

Sun June 14th 5 hr fluke trip

Memorial Day update with schedule:

Hello everyone,

First off we wanna thank all the veterans for everything they have done and do to allow us to live with pure freedom in this country. Thank you for your sacrifices.

Secondly, wow did the weather suck this weekend we were able to sneak out yesterday in some elements with Mike and crew and had slightly better life than last trip with 2 k in the boat and dropped 2 others. It’s definitely not what we are used to but with the cold water temps from 54 - 57 degrees yesterday we will take everything we can get. It’s only going to get better everyday now. The winter cold we had is still affecting everything even months later. Thanks for coming guys.

Sun May 17th update/ trip reports:

Hello folks,

We sailed the other night on our bass n blue trip and had piles and piles of fish in multiple areas but only caught a handful. The trip sailed light with only 2 anglers who ended up with half dozen bass a fluke and Mike had our first bluefish of the season around 6 lbs. Nice job mike. We will be doing another one of these trips and heading out to a totally different area on the next one to try our luck to the south.

Today’s fluke trip was slow. Conditions sucked and nothing lined up. The 2 man crew had a handful of shorts and 2 that just missed the cut. Capt Tom covered tons and tons of water and put in a lot of overtime but today just wasn’t the day.

Schedule update:

5/12 trip report and schedule update threw the month:

Hello folks,

We recently sailed on our first fluke trip over the weekend. We did not know what to expect. Went out with 3 new comers who were new to fluking and they picked up on the system right away doing pretty good for there first time ever. They even had a couple keepers for the Mother’s Day table! With around 20 shorts for our shortest trip. Way to go guys! Thanks for coming and booking more already!

Water temp average around 59 degrees where we fished with the outgoing tide. It will continue to rise and we expect fishing to pick up on every trip now. We did loose a heart breaker midway through the trip that definitely would have made the day!!! But that’s how it goes.

Weekend wrap up and fluke, blues, and bass schedule:

Hello folks,

We sailed Friday night in a different area than Tuesday to see if we can find something better and it wasn’t good. The full moon really shut the bite off and messed it up. Piles and piles of readings and yet all we caught was 2 giant weakfish. Go figure! A 25” and 27”. Was so awesome to see those but the bass were non existent.

Saturday pm went back to where we were on Tuesday pm and the first area we beat em in didn’t mark much at all. Had 2 or 3 bites and landed 1 and that was it. Got a call from a buddy and shot up in that direction and piles of readings again and picked up 12 fish to 27” before it was time to head it for the 2 man crew. No pictures this trip was just trying to get the guys on fish in the short timeline we had.

It looks good for upcoming trips as the full moon will be behind us and things should start stabilizing for the rest of the season now. When the bluefish show up we will take shots at those and go catch the gators in the flats. We are waiting very patiently and I think it should happen sometime this week.

Onto fluke too! Fluke season opens tommorow and yes they are already here as multiple reports have been coming in the last few days. We are looking forward to getting back to what we do best in the shallows for the flatties.

Upcoming schedule:

Thurs 5/7 - 1pm- 6pm

Saturday 5/9 - 7am to noon

Sunday 5/10 - 7am to noon

Monday 5/11 - 8am to 1 pm

Thurs 5/14 - 8am to 1 pm

Fri 5/15 - bass n blues 7pm to 11pm

Sat 5/16 - 9am to 2 pm fluke

Saturday 5/16 pm - 7pm to 11 pm bass n blues

Sun 5/17 - 10 am to 3 pm fluke

Let us know guys! It’s time.
