Oct 9th update:

Hello everyone,

Tommorows blackfish trip is sold out and will sail as scheduled.

Unfortunately due to the green crab shortage we may not be able to blackfish again for a little while. We have reached out to all our connections and all have said the same thing. They can not get the bait.

We will keep an eye out and see how far this goes and how long it takes to get some crabs back in the state of NJ.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but at this time all blackfish trips are on a temporary hold due to no bait.

We will continue our pm plug trips and maybe turn some blackfish trips into livelining spot for striper trips.

We will report back tommorow with a tog report

10/6 blackfish scouting trip report/ open boat availability:

Hello folks,

Capt Frankie and Dave decided to go give the blackfish a go this afternoon and see how it was after the blow last week. Well it was exceptional! Every crab got smashed within 15 seconds of hitting the bottom from start to finish and fish were caught on all 4 drops. We could have sat at the first and second the whole time but it was a scouting trip and we wanted to see what was wear and that’s exactly what we did. Dave lit the boat on fire with a jig for the first time ever and had 5 keepers himself. Capt Frankie followed right behind with 4 himself. The two caught over 65 shorts and 9 k in 3 hrs!

It’s time to go. Especially if you are newer to Tog jigging or just love to get on a hot tog bite. Pound for pound the hardest fighting fish we have in our local waters.

Lot of people ask every year about it and I tell them wait for us to give the go ahead to get on…. NOW IS THE TIME DO NOT WAIT

10/3 update for trips:

Hello folks,

Tommorows tog trip is cancelled due to weather.

We just received a beautiful shipment of crabs in and they are lively as can be and we are excited to send em down into some rocks for some thumps this coming week.

Next trip would be wed pm plug trip and we have room for one more person.

Fri 10/9 Am tog trip also may have 1 spot left but is questionable atm.

However 10/10 Saturday Am blackfish trip is wide open! Jump on board as we expect great fishing this coming week as fall water temps and air temps are finally lining up.

First trip back at it tonight:

Hello folks,

Had Mike and Joe out on a pm plug trip for the first trip after the Storm. Had high hopes for our first spot to find just a raging outgoing tide still and grass everywhere. No good. Made a move and caught a couple and lost a few. Made another run and still a raging current and grass. Ran back in another direction and caught one and dropped 3 others.

Was a gorgeous evening to be out there even tho fishing was only ok. It should bounce back after the next day or two. That was one hell of a storm.

Thanks for coming guys always appreciate having some of the A team out.

Storm update 9/26 and added two trips

Hello folks,

Everything seems to be ok for our boat and Capt Frankie’s personal. We had to loosen some lines up last night but we’re riding it out and cleaning up some plugs for our upcoming pm plug trips.

At this time our schedule for this coming week is posted below as we bounce back after this blow.

The plug trips should be stellar as they normally are after a hard NE blow between the stripers and bluefish.

As far as the blowfish we will wait and see if they are still here and will add some trips for them if they stuck around.

Blackfish trips will begin again soon. Maybe even one this week.

Will see.

Thank you everyone for fluke fishing with us this season! As we wait for Mother Nature to straighten herself out, we figured we would post some flatties from this season! Thanks again everyone!

Onto the fall run!

Due to the weather there will be no trips from now until Mon Sept 28th at the least. Everything is cancelled until then. We will look back at it over the weekend and try to schedule things for next week if possible.
