Piano will need to be tuned, which is the case with every piano you move to a new location. The most popular question, right now is “Do you move pianos in the winter?” and the answer is Yes! (We move pianos year round.) We just ask that the walkways and stairs are shoveled/sanded ahead of time, to help with safety and staying on schedule.

7 years ago today, the world lost an amazing man. He left behind a true legacy, that we are blessed to carry on, every day. When I (Michelle) worked for Lowell in 2007 for a short period of time, I never really understood his motto of “We’ll treat your piano like family”, like I do today. Every day, for the last 7 years, I have had the pleasure of hearing all the stories behind how each and every piano has come into people’s lives. Whether it’s a piano passed down in the family for decades, or a new piano for someone to start making their own memories on, they all have a rhyme or reason. We take pride in carrying on what he taught us. I say us, because my husband Josh was working for Lowell at the time he passed away, and had been for Lowell for 7 years. Lowell Trecartin was one of a kind. We are thankful for all he has taught us, and proud to continue his journey.
